Demon Calling

OK, my second entry, this one cooked exclusively to my own tastes, and strictly as a Gears of Wars 3 wallpaper (to me a gold Lancer says "3" on its own)

I had to be honest with myself. My first entry, for as fun as it was to make, is not something I would want as a desktop wallpaper. Kind of defeats the objective, huh? lol I always want my desktop wallpaper to be clean and somewhat understated, mainly because I operate from my desktop, so the wallpaper can't be too busy, and there has to be plenty of room for icons which won't get lost or jumbled up in the design.

The background creature's shadowed face is based VERY loosely on the berserker (initially traced from the asset pack). The face is not really supposed to represent a specific lambent- only Marcus' impressions as they haunt him. Hence, the skin texture seen on so many, which that covers most of the face. It surprised me how challenging it was for me to create a faux-Locust skin texture. That took forever! Lots of newfound respect for the pros who make it look so nice and so easy.

Anyway, any and all criticism, feedback, suggestions, etc., regardless how harsh, are very welcome, and very much appreciated.
